Countries that are well-off economically should give up meat entirely, billionaire Microsoft Co-Founder Bill Gates says.
Gates made the claim in an interview published Sunday in the MIT Technology Review, in which he touted his new book, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster.
Asked if plant-based and lab-grown meats “could be the full solution to the protein problem” globally caused by addressing the “highly potent emissions from burping livestock and fertilizer.” Gates said that poorer nations should be allowed to consume meat – but, prosperous nations should abstain from it entirely:
“So no, I don’t think the poorest 80 countries will be eating synthetic meat.
“I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef. You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time.”
But, if citizens refuse to shun meat willfully, the government can “use regulation to totally shift the demand,” Gates said. “So for meat in the middle-income-and-above countries, I do think it’s possible.”
A wise man plies HIS trade and allows the stage for other professions to be set by the men who do the same. I thought Gates was an intellectual giant. I thought he was an icon in the field of electronic technology and apparently riches derived from that trade isn’t, as is with MOST of the jaded in California, enough. Just because one falls in a well of money, DOESN’T qualify them to unilaterally opine on the merits of ANY theory, and that’s what it is, of an apocalypse that supposedly will destroy the Earth. Most of these ‘theories’ are on schedule to become reality thousands of years from now having NO direct effect on the current state of being. Global warming is the lever dumbass Democrats use to pilfer the treasury to fund pet projects fostered by rich ‘thinkers’ whose research isn’t grounded in science. These ‘opinions’ are comments by the bubbling fountains of worthless information which enables them to be part of an elitist group that is supposed to tackle problems that are solvable. Note the operative word is ‘solvable’. I think an argument for case in point would be Texas. Ask those folks what their opinion is on ‘global’ warming. Things untenable are NOT worthwhile avenues for which one could justify the expenditure of good time wasted. There are things like the aged NOT being able to secure their medicine or maintain a utile home that is somewhat comfortable. There’s always an over supply of useless drivel from the California elite that is defined as ‘Bullshit’. This proves Einstein’s theory that , a ‘brains’ mass is not an indicator of intelligence. Most of the crap these elite thinkers waste their time on is totally irrelevent except to their egos. When the last of this breed is extinct I’ll be relieved that my time in reading and hearing what I thought was an intelligent man, isn’t wasted on a damn hamburger. Oh, by the way, if Gates was to get between me and a juicy Porterhouse, , there’ll be trouble and that’s a theory that can be proven.

There is a big problem with anything this man has to say and he is tight buddies with Dr. Fauci. Gates thinks the population should be dwindled down because there are to many people. So in another country he was vaccinating children and they were dying right and left. Now China lets a virus loose and old people are dying right and left. Now he wants to control the kind of meat we eat. WHO NAMED HIM GOD???? The Democrats at the top think he is a wonder of all time so I imagine they have their hands in this too.
