The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says individuals who have been vaccinated will no longer be required or advised to quarantine following exposure to someone with the novel virus.
The guidance issued Wednesday applies only to those who have received both shots and the second shot was administered at least two weeks prior to the exposure.
CDC officials have also revised their positions on the recommendation of double masking – wearing a cloth mask over a disposable surgical mask to prevent the spread of more contagious variants of the virus, which are now spreading across the nation. The agency now says double masking can block up to 92% of infectious particles.

None of us have to wear a mask or quarantine unless we get sick. Just like any flu. It’s called etiquette. We are grown adults living in the USA where there is no expectation of safety, only liberty. Legislatures have never passed a law requiring anything about it, so law ENFORCEMENT has nothing to enforce. Governors; emergency mandates can only hold until the emergency has passed, and that happened last summer.
Be free and brave and open your businesses and invite customers. If the State wants to pull your license, well, that just means you no longer have a tax number to pay into. Still no laws broken, and the State hasn’t the jail room for all of us. Property confiscation? What difference is that from losing your business because you obeyed a Governor’s “Mandate”??
