I discovered Friday that the Post Office raised their small package rates 15% on January 25th. I suspect it is to cover the “free shipping” of the online retailers. Or could it be the instant inflation due to the “free “ money the government is handing out…

Excuses excuses. UPS and Fed Ex managed the extra shipping so USPS could have done it too. I mailed a check in Salisbury to an address in Salisbury on 12/30 and it still had not been delivered. Pathetic, over paid, government run. That’s why the USPS sucks.
I needed to overnight a document..made mistake to use postal service..not only did it not get there overnight, per the guarantee, it was also damaged. Their service sucks, and mail has taken weeks sometimes to arrive.
Just because the online retailer says shipping is “free” someone is still paying for it. The reason online retailers say free shipping on orders over a certain dollar amount is because if you make a purchase over that amount, they’ve made enough money to then take care of the shipping cost.
What an idiot! Do you honestly believe that you’re not paying for “free shipping” on your order from online retailers? Are you that stupid? The “free shipping” is included in the retailer’s price of their product that you buy.

They should be reducing the prices of everything beings as they have cost a lot of people extra money from their lack of ability to deliver the mail or packages on a decent timeline. No excuse for a Christmas card getting mailed on 12/14/20 and not being delivered until 01/28/21.
