Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul reacted with a mixture of disbelief and disgust during a Wednesday confirmation hearing for President Joe Biden’s pick for Education secretary, Miguel Cardona.
Specifically, Paul expressed concern that the Biden administration would ignore an Education Department Office of Civil Rights ruling that found it is unfair to female athletes who have to compete against biological males in the age of transgenderism.
Cardona’s answer? What conservatives would expect, of course.
“I think it is appropriate,” Cardona replied. “It is the legal responsibility of schools to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities and this includes students who are transgender.”
Rand Paul is right Joe Biden & his band of misfits are missing links. Young female athletes want to compete with their piers a level play field. The same with the young males play with their piers. If transgenders want to play they should with their piers. I thought the Civil Rights movement was all about fairness & competition for both sexes and all races. Transgender needs to remain with other transgender not force their identity on others. If they don’t the lawsuits & future sports will be lost, they can’t force their will on others it’s racist & not what this country has stood for. The fact that Joe Biden & his misfits want this show their true character. Ask Joe & kamala if they want their grandchildren to be forced into this swamp thinking?
