Joe Biden says he will welcome 125,000 refugees to the U.S. in first fiscal year of his administration – far above Trump’s 15,000 limit

President Joe Biden on Thursday announced his intention to massively increase the cap on annual refugee admissions to the United States, which fell to a historical low under Donald Trump.

In line with a campaign promise, Biden said he would set at 125,000 the cap on admissions as part of the country’s refugee resettlement program, against the current 15,000.

‘We offered safe havens for those fleeing violence or persecution’ in previous years, when America’s ‘moral leadership on refugee issues’ encouraged other nations to open their doors as well, Biden said.

  1. He should welcome them all personally and individually, each with a bony white handshake and hair sniff. That’ll be sure to give him something to talk about down at the clubhouse.

  2. Biden & his squad of swamp people do not care of those AmericanS who have all lost their jobs due to his pen signings and disregard. They don’t have jobs to support their families now but we can bring all these immigrants in and promise them jobs, homes, Medicare for all. He doesn’t have the brain of an ant! He & Harris need mental IQ tests. He has no clue on how to be a president he failed and accomplished zero as vice president and his over 40 years in office. It takes more than signing orders and following teleprompters and wearing hearing devices tuned to his puppet handlers to be a president.
