Wicomico County is seeking input from citizens as part of an update for its Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP).
The LPPRP is a resource for strategically enhancing public recreation opportunities.
Every five years, Wicomico County updates its LPPRP to identify current recreational trends, address service provision challenges, and update goals and priorities to improve countywide recreation opportunities.
The survey is available online at https://bit.ly/LPPRP2021.
Just a bunch of hooey. If the right person comes along with $$$$ they can buy any land they want. They tried doing this across the bridge years ago. You had to sell land in 25 acre lots. If you had 49 acres you couldn’t divide into 2 lots. Now there is nothing but huge houses on tiny lots all over what was once farmland. The developers always get their way.
Several of the parks in the county are in terrible condition. They have been declining for years. Just how we spend money here. The B.O.E. gets the cream of the crop with no questions asked or you a racist while the rest of the county departments excluding ” MIKES HEROS” gets the crumbs that are leftover.
What Parks?
