The owner of a popular Salisbury restaurant and bar apologized Sunday after an offensive sign was created outside over the weekend.
The signage at Market Street Inn was posted to Facebook where it went viral and for all of the wrong reasons. The sign sign, “So if a male can identify as a female, can a bar identify as a grocery store?” The sign was met with online outrage for being offensive to the LGBTQ community.
Less than a day after the original post was created, the owner of the restaurant made a swift apology. In a Facebook post, Rob Mulford wrote, “an employee made a poor lapse in judgment and displayed hurtful and insensitive taste in humor.”
Mulford ultimately went on to apologize to the entire city of Salisbury, saying the sign is “not a reflection of the city,” as they have “gone to great lengths to make it welcoming and diverse.”
PC has destroyed the collective sense of humor of society. Of course not surprising coming from a city run by a gay man and a lesbian the fast several years. Its more scientifically sound to allow a bar to identify as a restaurant than for a man to identify as a woman.
You should never apologize for anything unless there is an actual physical injury. Hurt feelings are merely the perception by others. You have no control over that. Bottom line, these mask and lockdown mandates are NOT laws and are completely unnecessary. If Twitter is a private business and can post “Hang Mike Pence” and anything else they want, so can you as a private business! Without apologies!

They should not have apologized! They were 100% right!! We have apologized for too many years when we were right. It needs to stop.

If a Male can identify as a Female than my son should be able to get his car insurance premium lowered by saying he feels like a girl.
Then in spring I should be able to Golf closer to the holes cuz I too feel like a woman.
Mulford should not have apologized. It will be a long time before I patronize MSI again.

Hey I’m on you guys side. But we all know the small ,loud percentage of people starting this gender crap are a bunch of losers who can’t get their shit together and live a normal life. They are the extreme sociopaths that have to have attention. Who knows why. Myself if I was running a business I wouldn’t put that sign up. I would want your money to patronize my place. I wouldn’t care how off balance you are. Money don’t care. Plus I think trans people are funnier than barrel clowns at a rodeo. But that’s just me.
