“A woman was fatally shot inside the U.S. Capitol after the mob breached the building. The circumstances were not clear,” The Washington Post begins in its report on the Wednesday afternoon shooting of 35-year old Ashli Babbitt. She later died of the gunshot wound at a local hospital.
The circumstances have now become much clearer with video of the shooter emerging overnight. There were police behind her – indicating they did not consider her an immediate lethal threat – at the moment she attempted to breach a barricade inside the capitol building.
Despite the security officers behind her being potentially in the line of fire, Babbitt was still shot by a Capitol police officer as she attempted to jump over a physical barrier, new video shows.
Interesting that he appears to adjust his aim specifically toward her. ?
How can she STORM the capital with NO WEAPONS ??? Tell me that !!!!

I do considerable business with the Department of Agriculture and a friend of mine that works there, an attorney, told me what the DOJ is planning.
First, every square foot of the capital is under video surveillance. Currently over one hundred agents are working to identify everyone that was in the building.
Once someone is identified initial charges of trespassing and illegal entry will be filed. Then, based on those charges, investigators will request court orders to search peoples phones, computers and social media accounts.
At that point they will look at charges under the Insurrection Act, 18 USC Ch. 115: TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES
