Actress Emily Ratajkowski: If Mark Zuckerberg Can Shut the President Off Facebook, He Can Shut Any of Us Off

As many on the left applaud Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to indefinitely ban President Donald Trump from Facebook and Instagram, some are realizing that the Silicon Valley billionaire’s decision sets a dangerous precedent for the freedom of speech.

One such person is actress-model Emily Ratajkowski, who risked the scorn of her Hollywood peers and the mainstream media by expressing her concern about Zuckerberg’s decision to blacklist the president. “This gives Facebook/tech/Zuck THE MOST POWER. If he can shut the president up/off he can shut any of us up/off,” she tweeted on Thursday.

  1. Since when did FB become so essential to your speech??? LoL. Use some of those free market principles you claim to support and move to another platform, or create one!

    1. So you are fine with some censorship right ? What other rights are you willing to give up ? Your problem is you don’t mind restricting other peoples rights but it’s only a matter of time before your rights will be infringed upon but you’ll probably believe it’s for your own good lol

  2. She’s in the public eye for her looks not her brains but she has correctly sized up the impact of FB’s actions and motivation. Carries over to the other social media censors, too.

  3. This may be a surprise to most minions. During my 76 years, I do not do any of that crap and actually am existing. I can get or send any info from other sources. I do have a cell phone, even text and search the net. As a friend said “jiggle it”. AND it’s not a flip phone. The first cell I had was larger than what the military used out in the field. Again, I don’t need Facebook. Who knows, I may go through life without it. 🙁
