Maryland Congressman Andy Harris was reportedly involved in a scuffle on the House floor early Thursday.
While Democratic Congressman Conor Lamb of Pennsylvania spoke, Republican Andy Harris reportedly got into an argument with Democratic Congressman Colin Allred from Texas. Several reporters said the dispute may have been sparked by Lamb’s description of the Wednesday rioting.
Multiple witnesses say it almost got physical, and that Harris and Allred had to be separated.
FOX News reports that the potential brawl between the lawmakers would have pitted Harris, a 63-year-old U.S. Navy veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm, against Allred, a 37-year-old former college football player at Baylor who later spent some time with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.
Did Congressman Harris actually and finally object to any electoral college results like he said he would?!
