WASHINGTON, DC:Congressman Andy Harris, M.D., today applauded the decision to reverse thousands of dollars in unexpected end-of-year fees assessed on distilleries across Maryland and the nation who had so graciously converted their operations to hand sanitizer production during the pandemic. Previously, the Food and Drug Administration planned to charge fees in excess of $14,000 on distilleries who produced hand sanitizer last year.
Congressman Harris issued the following statement:
“The FDA’s planned action to punish small businesses across the country for stepping up during such a trying time for our nation is the clearest example of a bureaucracy that is out of touch with the needs of everyday Americans. Thankfully, President Trump and the Department of Health and Human Services made clear that they would not allow these fees and will formally rescind this action. I thank the President for intervening and reversing this terrible decision. These business owners, including several in the First Congressional District, stepped up during difficult times for the good of our nation and deserve our thanks, not a bureaucratic end-of-the-year surprise bill.”
See right there shows you it is not about safety but to make/take money and to take your rights!!! But hey don’t worry, you still have the kirwin plan 5 billion in tax increases still to come! Also don’t forget, the IRS is now going to look into every single small business that operated/semi-operated during the pandemic to see what fines and fees they can slap you with! You slaves know why, it is to take your money and make you more poor! Hence why the govt made exceptions to serving food, that you had to spend money to set up, all to, once you had it in place, get shut down again! Then wait a little bit and boom you can open again! It is all to make you spend money on needles BS for them to just change it the next day after you implemented what you could from their idiocy recommendations, NOT LAW! And as long as everyone chooses to be a god damn coward, don’t expect jack to change but to have more of your rights taken! Funny this all follows the Movie V For Vendetta to a T!
