Who needs the Times Square ball drop when you’ve got Jennifer Lopez?
The 51-year-old pop superstar closed out 2020 with a performance on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” towering above the stage in a larger-than-life Valentino Haute Couture cape and a sparkling, spherical Marianna Harutunian headpiece reminiscent of the dropping ball itself.
Fans weren’t sure what to make of the entertainer’s face covering, with one Twitter user writing, “They said ‘please wear a mask’ and Jennifer Lopez said ‘ON IT.’”
“I’m not sure if JLo’s mask is CDC approved,” another mused.
Others poked fun at her fluffy, feathered white cape, with one person joking, “Jennifer Lopez doing a tribute to hoarding toilet paper is very on point for 2020.”
Where the Hell was DiBlasio’s goons? The business community should burn the City Hall down. This is an example of ‘Money’ privilege’. Just because her ass is wider than anybody else doesn’t give her special consideration. That’s the problem these days. Movie star or not the rules are for her too. That’s why I don’t have ANY heros except for those who earn the title. Unfortunately, Because she is one of the ‘golden kids’ NO ONE in authority would dare to challenge her. If I were a citizen of NYC I’d keep a picture of this close by and if accosted,
I’d insist on the same treatment she enjoyed.
