Starting Jan. 1, undocumented immigrants in Virginia will be able to apply for a long-awaited special driver’s permit.
Activists have been fighting for the permit, called a driver privilege card, to become a reality for years. Supporters argued that it was a matter of public safety, and in March, the Democrat-controlled General Assembly passed the legislation.
“I cannot tell you all how important this is for about 300,000 people living in Virginia,” Alexandria Democratic state Sen. Scott Surovell told the Virginia Mercury at the time. “This bill is going to change people’s lives.”
Several other states now allow illegal immigrants to get similar driving privileges, including New York, New Jersey and California.
After New Jersey passed its law last year, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf said such programs are dangerous, not just to public safety, but also to national security.
Which means they can vote illegally, boycott any business that employs illegals
How come MD is not included in these facts they have been issuing illegals driving privileges’ for years and register them to vote.

I certainly agree with Sen. Scott Surovell statement, “This bill is going to change people’s lives”‘. It will definitely change people’s lives, that is the law abiding citizens’ lives, and for the worst. First off, it sends the message that criminal activity is acceptable in Virginia, and that a certain class of people don’t have to abide by the same laws and rules as true citizens. Very few, if any of these ILLEGALS will purchase any form of vehicle insurance so good luck if you are involved in a collision with one. That is if they don’t flee from the scene, which occurs often. If they must appear for court for a traffic infraction they bog down the American court systems because they will request a court interpreter (even though many speak English as well as they do Spanish).
Illegals are draining the system. All driven by Democrats garnering votes.

The article must have been written by a liberal or member of the Democratic Party based upon the title, “Virginia Law Will Allow Undocumented Immigrants To Drive Legally”. Perhaps in reality it should read, “A Corrupt and Democratically Controlled VA Government Will Allow Criminal Invaders To Drive Illegally”.
So, your “leaders”, including those scumbags in Maryland, make LEGAL citizens provide a birth certificate, a social security card, two bills in your name, a bank account record, and God knows what else — and you BETTER have ALL OF THEM or the Gestapo sends you away (and you also better not get angry or out of line or the Gestapo will beat your ace in front of everyone, just to make sure everyone else gets the message), but if you just swam across the Rio last week, all you need to do is say that and VOILA! a drivers license.
You people have been on your knees so long, you think a politician’s open zipper is your dinner invitation.

These “leaders” ADMIT there are 300,00 (!!) ILLEGAL people in their state and instead of ENFORCING THE LAWS THEY PASSED, they selectively EXCLUDE certain groups from those laws. Just not YOU.
