Los Angeles to shut off water and power to homes hosting large parties or gatherings

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said on Wednesday that he is authorizing the city to shut off utility service to properties where large parties and gatherings are held, CBS Los Angeles reports. Garcetti said that, starting Friday, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power will cut off water and power service in “egregious” cases where unpermitted large parties and gatherings take place.

  1. Welcome people, to a time when POLITICIANS can overrule the Constitution by merely speaking a few words.
And use the power of the government to crush any dissent.
Cut off your water and electricity for failure to OBEY?
I was shocked that four Supreme Court justices — FOUR OF THEM!! — thought that the First Amendment is open to the judgment of POLITICIANS and that they have every right to tell people which of our rights THEY WILL ALLOW US TO HAVE.!! I just checked — there is no part of the Constitution that I can find that says a GOVERNOR or a MAYOR can issue orders that negate the Bill of Rights.
We need to start hanging them.

    It’s sickening.

If someone dies because there is no water or electricity going to their house, is he guilty of accessory to murder?
If I cut the electric lines to someone’s house and their ventilator doesn’t work and they die, how long will it take the Gestapo to come and arrest me?
    Right.
But a POLITICIAN does it and you cheer???

    Get off your knees.

  2. If you think this is bad………..just wait til Biden and Kamala are in charge. You ain’t seen nutin’ yet!!! Those commies will have you asking permission to go to the bathroom and tell you how long to be in there. This is what we’re headed for with all the uninformed democrats who voted for those two. You will be sorry but it’s such a shame the rest of us have to suffer with you.

  3. Put this in perspective- People who can’t or won’t pay there utility bill are protected in winter months from having power cut off. Defy your local politician and, well you figure it out.
