Whoopi Goldberg Claims Trump is Attempting ‘A Coup’ Against Biden

We get that most left-wing celebrities lack a self-awareness quality that people outside of the industry tend to have, but what Whoopi Goldberg just said is so far beyond absurd it’s almost in a ‘lack of self-awareness’ category all its own.

President Donald Trump has literally been under assault by the deep state – the combination of establishment politicians, the intelligence community, federal law enforcement, and the mainstream media – since before he beat Hillary Clinton in 2016.

There have been repeated attempts to depose him – that is, drive him from office.

People tend to call such actions “coup attempts.”

First is was the Russian collusion hoax. Then it was via Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Then the fake impeachment after absurd allegations of an attempted “quid pro quo” in Ukraine (when then-VP Joe Biden is actually the one who strong-armed the Ukrainian government and threatened to withhold $1 billion in aide back in the day).

Now it appears as though the latest attempt may have taken the form of stealing his votes.

Then Goldberg, the legal and constitutional genius, weighed in.

“This is — I’m sorry. This is an attempted coup. This is what dictators do when they want to take a country away from its people,” she said. “You all — somebody better step up before you suddenly turn around and they have taken the country, and now you have no recourse. You don’t have a recourse. Either we fix it now or he’s going to walk away with it because his lies are many, and they go farther and farther and farther.”

Never mind that Trump’s lawyers say they have hundreds — hundreds — of sworn affidavits alleging they witnessed vote fraud.

But in Whoopi’s World, Trump is the threat to our republic, not the election cheats who are trying to make all future elections null and void.
