The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has upped its warning on cruise ships, now advising that “all people avoid travel on cruise ships.”
The federal agency now classifies cruise travel as “Level 4: Very High Level of COVID-19” and clarifies that this includes river cruises and applies worldwide.
At the end of October, the CDC lifted its months-long ban on cruise ships operating in and out of U.S. ports.
The agency then issued a Framework for Conditional Sailing Order, a document outlining the detailed steps that cruise lines must implement before they can get permission to recommence regular voyages, including crew testing and successful “simulated voyages” designed “to replicate real world onboard conditions of cruising.”
that`s what the cdc says now but give it a month and the cdc will be saying cruise ships are the safest way to travel, after cdc leaders get multimillion dollar donations to their bank accounts from cruise ship lines. I remember when the cdc said masks are usless to the general public to prevent covid and only hospital staff need them, then they said everyone needs masks even though they knew that there weren`t enough masks to even protect hospital workers.then the cdc decided that even a dirty tee shirt or rag over your face is a good enough mask to stop covid while you`re at walmart. hahahaha, is anybody still drinking the cdc cool aid??
