Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday expressed concern about the distribution of a coronavirus vaccine under the Trump administration.
Following Pfizer’s announcement that its vaccine had a 90 percent success rate in a study, Cuomo spoke to George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “Good Morning America” about the good news.
“Well, it’s good news/bad news. The good news is the Pfizer tests look good and we’ll have a vaccine shortly. The bad news is that it’s about two months before Joe Biden takes over and that means this administration is going to be implementing a vaccine plan.
“The vaccine plan is very important and it’s probably the most ambitious undertaking since COVID began … And the Trump Administration is rolling out the vaccination plan and I believe it’s flawed. I believe it learns nothing from the past. They’re basically going to have the private providers do it and that’s going to leave out all sorts of communities that were left out the first time when COVID ravaged them,” Cuomo responded.
When asked about what he thinks Biden will do better, he quickly deflected the question and was unable to give an explanation.

You know, I didn’t even take time to read this. What a piece of crap this turd is. If he’s as shape and admired as he thinks, he would be relevant. Throw in the big dummy holding the position of mayor and no wonder New York, New York has gone from a great tourist attraction, to a dump. Sad indeed.
A few vulnerable people got away. Cuomo wants another chance to kill them.
Deny the vaccine to old folks who want it just at the start of flu season.
Hi Joe, I am a biochemist and wanted to weigh in on some important details of what Pfizer released. Pfizer’s results are based on 94 cases of C-19 among their study patients. They have yet to release data showing how many participants got sick from the vaccine vs. the placebo. They also declined to share any symptoms and the severity of those symptoms. We have no reports of side effects or the severity. They did not test asymptomatic people meaning even if this does stop coronavirus infection from causing C-19 disease, people could still be asymptomatic. It’s important to listen to scientists who can explain this stuff !
Or we can all just have some common sense and realize this vaccine hasn’t been out long enough to know the lasting affects. I’m not taking it but then again I also don’t get a flu vaccine either.
I get a flu vaccine every year and have never gotten the flu or had any side effects. Same to be said for my entire division.
