The 23-year-old man repeatedly refused to step out of the vehicle on his own, forcing officers to take action, Anne Arundel County police said.
The cell phone video recorded Oct. 19 shows Antoine Lee Wedington sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle. The footage later posted to TikTok has since been viewed 4.4 million times and received nearly 170,000 comments.
Police can be heard saying they pulled over the driver, Heather Janney, for driving 45 mph in a 30 mph zone. Wedington, addressing the camera held by his girlfriend, asks, “If they pulled her over for a traffic ticket, how is it lawful to get the identification of the passenger?”
Two officers then grab onto Wedington, one by his feet, another at his neck, while he asks why he can’t take his time getting out of the car.
“Can’t you see I’m on the phone,” he says, telling the officers to get off him.
Officers asked Wedington to exit the vehicle, but after giving him “numerous verbal requests” and “multiple opportunities” to step out “willingly,” he still refused, according to the department. That’s when police said officers “physically removed him from the vehicle and placed him under arrest.”

Anybody see the Democrats throwing rocks at Jews in NYC yesterday???
Ask any cop if he or she knows “frequent fliers” on sight.
He’s got black privilege syndrome
They are going to pursue legal action? How dare they arrest you for committing a crime!
This is the BLM b/s the Dims want you to vote for. A police officer has the wherewithal after seeing a person whom might give him reason to suspect that person is a wanted criminal to demand I.D. Under these circumstances, if the suspect is a hard headed dumbass such as the one in this story, then HE caused them to take the position he was wanted, and the appropriate action was taken. They didn’t know if he was armed, if there was duress on his part toward the driver, or if she and he were a crime duo the CID might want to query in other cases.
If this makes it to the Supreme Court he will LOSE, due to the fact this is GOOD police work and a Warrant was the vehicle that made it a good arrest.
Tell BLM to pony up to pay his bond and because you’re black you can’t do whatever the Hell you want. If he was wanted, how damn long did he think it would be before they nabbed him?
The moral of this story is, stupidity isn’t an admiral quality and when you’re wanted, being out on an excursion with your ‘squeeze’, instead of hiding, isn’t misconduct on the part of the law. Ha.Ha.
