State Delegate Sharee Sample Hughes Forced To BEG Wicomico County Executive To Get Nursing Home Information She Asked For A YEAR Ago

Did anyone else see the executive’s legislative breakfast video because if you haven’t you should.  There are plenty of good things being discussed but Adam Corry taking credit for WAGA is a bit of a stretch.  Because it was the previous deputy director of public works who actually came up with the idea and contacted the company.  So, thanks should go to that previous employee, and because of him the county may get a better deal.   

But if you watch all the way to the end, when the only actual delegate that is actively doing anything for the county, Sherree Sample Huges, gets a chance to wrap up the meeting and very poignantly asks the county executive about the nursing home.  The Nursing Home which was supposed to be discussed a YEAR AGO at the previous year’s breakfast!  And this year was conveniently omitted again!  Way to pretend that mess is nothing to see.  She actually had to BEG the County Executive for the information in which Julie replied, I’ll get back to you on that. “I don’t want to keep begging for the information”. 

The woman had to wait an entire year and Giordano spit in her face again. Is it a black and white thing, a woman against woman thing, a delegate vs executive thing, a young vs the aging thing, inquiring minds want to know.  Nevertheless, you disrespected the best local politician we have ever had and you refused once again to put it on this years agenda. Julie, you’ve got to go.
