Caitlin Clark’s Fever-Sky Game Is Most Watched WNBA Game Since 1997 – Viewership Nearly Doubled NBA’s Overall National-Telecast Average

Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark Are Saving Women’s Sports. The Fever audience continues to soar with the two most popular players in the league.

The Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky game was the most watched WNBA game since the league’s opening weekend in 1997, averaging 3.31 million viewers on NBC and Peacock on Sunday.

At one point in the game the audience size surged to 3.8 million viewers, another record for a regular season contest.

The game included the league’s second-most popular player Sophie Cunningham, a tough Midwestern woman who recently spoke out against biological men in women’s sports.

And, the game was not without its drama when former NBA great Enes Kantor Freedom was escorted from the building after Sky player Natasha Cloud started screaming at him for wearing a T-shirt with the definition of woman on it.
