I have been begging Julie Giordano for months to do something about getting Mill Branch Road black topped. It’s a mess and in bad need of resurfacing. Every rural road in the Athol, Hebron and Mardela area has been black topped and striped, except Mill Branch Road. Recently they even repaved Old Florist Lane outside of Hebron, which has NO through traffic on it and 3 houses and the road isn’t even a quarter of a mile long. I have received my tax bill and I don’t see any reduction in my taxes. Mill Branch Road just had a major logging operation this summer and it has damaged our already shoddy road, plus dozens of watermelon buses every day, soon school buses, farming machinery nearly year round, work traffic, you name it. The road is narrow and when passing another vehicle one of them has to go off the roadside to get past. I have contacted the Ms. Giordano and the supervisor of the county roads dept, numerous times, all to no avail. I just want to know why our road is left in such disrepair and neglected while all the surrounding area roads have been fixed and are great!!! We pay the same taxes as those who live on all those other roads. No one will respond to me!!!
It took years of whining and complaining, but Salisbury finally repaved Mill St. Just about every time I drive that street now, I think back how terrible it used to be. Thank you to whoever made the decision to fix it.
It has not gone unnoticed.
You’ll get the same with mary beth.
She’s just a talking head and does nothing for us, but she does enjoy the spot light.
Sounds typical of the queen and the Wicomico top dogs.
She is in over her head!
Chumming up to Fraud-Moore for handouts.
We voted to keep the executive branch in our county…too bad nobody primaried her…John Cannon should have stepped up…now we are stuck with her – because she is better than any Demoncrat.
10:02 AM Maybe you should look really close at the ballot when you vote. Sometime change is good.
I noticed that a little side, short cut road near Quantico which has one house on it has been repaved also. That is Old Athol Road. It’s hardly used at all.
I sometimes cut through Mill Branch Rd. going to Hebron and it is pretty bad. The edges of the road are broken up and you can’t help but drive over the edges when passing another car or truck. It’s not wide enough either.
