Some Democrats in this election cycle are trying desperately to portray themselves as people of faith. The most notable example of this is James Talarico, who is running for U.S. Senate in Texas.
The reason why this doesn’t work is that the only time Talarico even brings up his Christian faith is when he is using it to try to justify some far-left policy, whether it’s transgender children, abortion, open borders, health care, or anything else.
It’s just not genuine. He uses his faith as a political tool.
This has not stopped the liberal media from trying to use this to help Democrats win
Look at this ridiculous recent report from ABC News:
Some Democrats trying to reclaim the issue of faith from the Republican Party
