Reporter talks to illegal migrants whose wives are back home, ‘like it says in Islam’
Nick Shirley made a name for himself by taking his video camera to fake Somalian day care centers in Minnesota and exposing massive fraud. Now he’s in Ceuta, Spain, the town on which tens of thousands of Moroccan illegal immigrants descended last week.
Shirley recently asked a group of these migrants why they left Morocco and, more importantly, where they’d go now.
As to the “why” question, one man points out he has no work and no money in Morocco – a typical complaint of Third World immigrants. Also mention was the fact that “there are no human rights in Morocco.”
“Where are you going now?” asks Shirley of a now-larger group of men. One volunteers he’ll go to “all of Europe” – Romania and Russia mentions specifically. Later some of the men cite Madrid and Barcelona, larger cities within Spain, along with Germany, Belgium, Denmark and Holland.
Shirley asked the men where the women were. “Women are in the house like it says in Islam,” explained one man, meaning back in Morocco where there is little opportunity or food.
Later in the footage, Shirley questions a Spanish woman about how she felt about 60,000 migrants storming her homeland.
