Paul Pelosi, the husband of Nancy Pelosi, has been charged in his hit-and-run crash over the Fourth of July weekend.
Allison Haley, the District Attorney of Napa County, filed charges against Pelosi Friday. He was hit with one count of misdemeanor hit-and-run driving and hit with one infraction for an unlawful turning movement.
Shocking photographs, obtained by The California Post, revealed the bashed-up Tesla that Pelosi allegedly slammed into before driving away.
Authorities said the 86-year-old husband of the former House Speaker struck the parked vehicle with his brown convertible before fleeing the scene on July 3. Napa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of the hit-and-run on the 6700 block of Yount Street in Yountville, around 2:30 p.m.
