At least three people were shot at a Maryland shopping center after several gunmen opened fire forcing terrified customers to flee for their lives.
The chaos unfolded at around 4.40pm on Friday afternoon in Northeast Baltimore near the Coldspring Shopping Center, according to CBS Baltimore.
The victims were two 24–year–old men and another 25–year–old man, the outlet reported.
They were taken to the hospital with with life–threatening injuries and listed in stable condition.
City police were called to the area near the HipHop Fish & Chicken fast food chain at the mall to reports of a shooting, SKY 11 reported.
Morgan State University police said that three unknown suspects had displayed and then fired a weapon, according to the Baltimore Sun.
After that, the suspects fled in unknown directions, per a campus police notice cited by the outlet. The university is located a few blocks from the mall.
Baltimore police are still searching the area for victims after the shooting.
