Armed bystander prevents Chick-fil-A robber from fleeing the scene of the crime

These customers definitely weren’t chicken.

An attempted robbery at a Chick-fil-A in Georgia was reportedly thwarted by an armed citizen who held the suspect at gunpoint until authorities could arrive.

The armed suspect reportedly walked into the restaurant, threatened workers with the gun and demanded money. During the robbery, one of the cashiers reportedly fled to the back of the fast-food joint, after which the suspect attempted to leave. It’s unclear if the suspect managed to take any money from the restaurant before fleeing.

Several customers confronted the man on his way out of the restaurant, one of whom as armed. The armed customer reportedly fired two shots and held the suspect at gunpoint until authorities could arrive.

  1. The armed (citizen) that stopped the bad boy has not been charged with any crime. Why put that in there unless it was the great state of Maryland. Why mention a crime that was not committed unless it was in the great state of Maryland. I bet you if this had been in the great state of Maryland (born here 78 years ago and still here), the bad boy would have gotten a Number 1 Deluxe w/pickle and a stimulus check after a apology. The armed citizen would have been cuffed, stuffed and convicted of whatever the good state of Maryland could find in the books, including a MSI citation to fix his taillight before the family could get his car out of the compound. I hope the SA doesn’t reply that this is nonsense, because it is not meant to be satire. Serious business here, I would hate to be put in the situation as the good citizen, even though I would likely do the same as he or she.
