Two more Americans are dead after a big rig plowed into traffic on a California highway, and the man behind the wheel is an illegal alien released into the country by the Biden administration. Manvir Singh, a 24-year-old from India who entered the United States illegally in Arizona in 2023, now faces felony charges for vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, hit-and-run resulting in death or injury, and obstructing or resisting a police officer.
The crash occurred Tuesday afternoon on northbound Highway 99 near the Harney Lane offramp in Lodi, involving Singh’s Freightliner and three other vehicles.
According to California Highway Patrol reports, Singh’s rig failed to stop, slamming into the rear of a Kia Forte and triggering a chain reaction that left two people dead and several others hospitalized with injuries ranging from moderate to major.
