“Every day, Department of Justice investigators and prosecutors work to punish those who commit fraud.”
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche revealed on Tuesday that there are currently over 8,000 fraud cases underway at the Department of Justice, which he said represents only “a fraction of the fraud ripping off our country.”
“Every day, Department of Justice investigators and prosecutors work to punish those who commit fraud,” Blanche said, noting that his department has secured sentencing and convictions in three cases totalling over half a billion dollars in healthcare and Covid fraud.
