Liberal sports commentator Stephen A. Smith voiced support for voter ID requirements while criticizing both the political Left and national leaders during a broadcast of his SiriusXM show “Straight Shooter.”
Smith, who is often cited as a potential Democrat presidential contender, argued Wednesday that requiring identification to vote is consistent with everyday standards.
He is also taking aim at what he described as inconsistent arguments from progressive voices.
