The Wicomico County Department of Public Works in collaboration with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Forest Service will be conducting a prescribed burn(s), within the limits of the Sharps Point Dredge Management Facility located at 622 Sharps Point Rd. Fruitland, between March 18th, and April 1st, 2026. This effort will assist the Department in the performance of aerial survey work and upcoming dredge management activities, and help to control invasive phragmites.
