Endorsement Signals Law Enforcement’s Call for New Leadership
Wicomico County, Maryland — The Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #111 (FOP) has officially endorsed Scott Hamilton in his campaign for Sheriff, underscoring strong support from rank-and-file law enforcement officers and signaling a clear call for new leadership within the Sheriff’s Office.
The endorsement from the Fraternal Order of Police — the nation’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers — reflects growing confidence in Hamilton’s vision for strengthening public safety, improving morale, and restoring trust within the department and the community it serves.

fop lodge 111 can endorse all they want, but the voters in Wicomico county will decide who will be Sheriff again.

Hamilton couldn’t cut it in the Marines, so he took the easy road and joined the Army? Is that correct? And he wants to be Sheriff of Wicomico county? I don’t think so. Sheriff Mike Lewis has a big pair of shoes to replace.
