For the first time in the history of America and humanity, a court of the educated and enlightened has been challenged to define a woman and decide whether the country should allow biological men to terrorize women in locker rooms and assault them on athletic fields. In a nation founded upon self-evident truths and unalienable rights, the truth of female identity and the right to protection from sexual and physical assault should be the most self-evident and unalienable of all.
But not so in America’s 21st-century post-Christian dystopia, where a litany of conservative athletes, intellectuals, and legislators had to trek to Washington to do the unimaginable — actually pledge their allegiance to self-evident reality in the hopes that the Court won’t acquiesce to Leftists’ destruction of Western Civilization.
Here’s hoping justices stand firm on reality and don’t attempt to cut the baby in two by compromise.
The fact that this is even being argued before the Supreme Court screams something is wrong in America that’s hard to understand. The Right is chalking the transgender mess up to lunacy or mental illness. But labeling it absolves people from the hard work of understanding what’s driving the Left to destroy binary gender, which has been the foundation for Western Civilization.
The facts reveal that something is dividing America to the core. The entire Left is walking lockstep in solidarity to codify transgenderism for the nation. Every House Democrat, minus two, voted against Trump’s bill to ban transgender athletes from women’s sports, and Senate Democrats killed it in committee. Clearly, they are not all clinically insane, which means something far more profound is at work.
America is being torn in two by an ideological civil war that has irreparably divided the nation. Conservatives will never win this fight until they are willing to face this reality.
We have two irreconcilable moral visions with utterly antithetical concepts of gender justice, equality, truth, democracy, the rule of law, freedom, and sexuality fighting for supremacy and the right to configure the nation in their image. This is the product of an intellectual revolution that’s been happening in American universities and culture for over a century. While the results are shocking, these revolutions are a part of human history, and America is not immune.
