SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico County is seeking input from citizens as part of an update for its Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP).
The LPPRP is a resource for strategically enhancing public recreation opportunities.
Every five years, Wicomico County updates its LPPRP to identify current recreational trends, address service provision challenges, and update goals and priorities to improve countywide recreation opportunities.
“Public input is a valuable part of this process,” said Recreation, Parks & Tourism Director Steve Miller. “The feedback we receive from this survey will guide the County in its planning of parks, recreation and open space for the next several years.”
The survey is available online at https://bit.ly/LPPRPSurvey.
To many parks in the county that are in serious needs for updating and a face lift and we want more! Concentrate on what you have at present time instead of adding more. Pemberton hall bathrooms are in dire straights for a upgrade ! They are just viral!
NO new parks.
The land owners know the right people to get the county to buy their land for gigantic sums of money. It’s all in who you know.
I vote to preserve as much land as we can afford, without raising taxes, to keep developers from building more huge housing projects which bring in thousands of people with no place to work and overcrowding our schools.
