Congressman Mark Harris recently introduced a bill to remove the National Education Association’s charter with the Federal government by sponsoring, along with other Republican representatives, the “National Education Association Charter Repeal Act.” We reported on that story:

  1. Nope. I have been in public Ed a long time. I don’t pay dues and am not part of either the teacher or administrator associations. Schools have no place in politics., and I definitely don’t agree with either when they blindly support candidates. We have a Constitutional Republic for a reason, but the Ed associates don’t seem to get that.

    1. I was a teacher for 25 years and actually was a member of the union for a very short time. It didn’t take long for me to see that their political motives were much more important than educating our kids. I quickly resigned.
