The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office recently partnered with local and federal agencies to strictly enforce Sex Offender Registry compliance across Worcester County. From March 3 through March 14, 2025, the WCSO Sex Offender Registry Unit, the U.S. Marshals Service – District of Maryland, the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF), and the Ocean City Police Department conducted a joint compliance initiative. The operation produced the following results:
Sixty-Nine (69) Sex Offender compliance checks.
Deputies obtained eight (8) arrest warrants for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
Deputies closed six (6) warrants by physical arrests.
The following individuals were charged for violations regarding sex offender registry:
Justin Bell, age 35, Tier 3, (Ocean City)
Daniel Crismond, age 60, Tier 3, (Pocomoke)
Donald Disharoon, age 75, Tier 3, (Berlin)
Deborah Halter, age 40, Tier 2, (Girdletree)
Cheryl Jarmon, age 61, Tier 3, (Ocean City)
Ruben Martinez, age 42, Tier 3, (Berlin)
Shawn Robins, age 43, Tier 3, (Snow Hill)
Richard Steininger, age 31, Tier 3, (Snow Hill)
