NPR CEO Laughably Claims ‘We’re a Non-Partisan News Organization’ in Interview on PBS (VIDEO)

Credit: @krmaher

Katherine Maher, the CEO of National Public Radio, recently did an interview on PBS during which she made the absurd claim that NPR is a non-partisan news organization.

She also tried to make the case that Trump is infringing on NPR’s First Amendment rights, which is absurd.

For years, we have been told that federal funding makes up a small part of NPR’s budget. If that is true, why are they in such a panic over the idea of losing it? Can’t liberal donors make up the difference easily?

  1. I was so sorry to witness the de-evolution of NPR content over the course of twenty years. What used to be always truthfully informative and uniquely and innocently entertaining is now neither.

  2. Have you even listened to NPR? It’s the most boring news there is. It’s just straight facts without much editorializing at all. Reporting on when something bad happens like Trump’s tariffs tanking the economy doesn’t make them anti-Trump or biased. It’s just factually reporting what is currently happening.

  3. Hey 119, Trump’s tariffs are not tanking the economy. You sound just like npr, cbs, msnbc, cnn, etc.

  4. Their non-news content is pretty good!
Their news content is so left leaning that one could worry about falling over!

If they could separate the non-news programming to a distinct organization, it should retain its’ funding – while the left-leaning news portion dies an excruciating slow horrible death!
