Right now with the Trump Administration since January of 2025 we are seeing a change in the shift on the vision that children should be educated. With President Trump naming Linda McMahon the Secretary of Education.
This vision for Education, really came to the forefront in the fall of 2021 in the State of Virginia Governor’s race, where Governor Glen Youngkin ran on the message that “Parents Matter” when it comes to their children’s education.
However the former Biden Administration / Democrats vision for Education is very different, where Elected Democrats are beholden to the Teachers Union almost lockstep.
“I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually take books out and make their own decision,” McAuliffe said over what should be taught in schools. The former governor later added, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
Terry McAuliffe former Democrat Virginia Governor / Former DNC Chairman 10/01/21
The State of Maryland with Democrat Governor Wes Moore and a supermajority Democrat Legislature in Annapolis, is still very “NSYNC” with the Democrat/ Teachers Union vision for Education.

Federal/ National Points on Education:
In November of 2024, Now President Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris and the Biden Administration, so a shift in the Education vision for the Country is currently happening. The Trump Administration is looking into how the Biden Administration worked almost lockstep for the past 4 years with the teachers Union to radically transform the country’s education system.
DEI / Department of Education A Billion Dollars:
One item that has been uncovered since November of 2024 is the DEI implementation into the public school system through the Department of Education under the 4 years of the Biden Administration, costing the Taxpayers over a $Billion dollars.
“A new report from Parents Defending Education (PDE) revealed that the Biden-Harris administration spent over $1 billion of taxpayer money on so called ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ programming.
“DEI is the woke addiction that the Biden-Harris administration simply cannot quit.
“Instead of becoming a more perfect union, DEI turns our schools, communities, and cities into cesspools of divisiveness and hate. And we know DEI bureaucracies are also notorious drivers of campus antisemitism.” Virginia Foxx US Congresswoman, NC Former Chair of House Education & Workforce Committee 12/18/2024
United States Senator Mike Rounds Bill to Eliminate the Department of Education:
Since November of 2024, Republican United States Senator Mike Rounds, SD has introduced a bill to eliminate the Department of Education.
“The Department was created in 1979 with the goal of collecting data and advising schools across the U.S. on best practices. In the 45 years since then, it has grown into an oversized bureaucracy with a budget that’s 449% larger than it was at its founding. Despite the Department spending $16,000 per student per year, standardized test scores have been dropping over the past ten years, further displaying the Department’s ineffectiveness on the quality of education for American students. Any grants or funding from the Department are only given to states and educational institutions in exchange for adopting the one-size-fits-all standards put forth by the Department.
“The federal Department of Education has never educated a single student, and it’s long past time to end this bureaucratic Department that causes more harm than good,” said Rounds. “We all know local control is best when it comes to education.” United States (R) Senator Mike Rounds, SD 11/21/24
President Trump / Linda McMahon:
& lastly since November of 2024, to take Education in the country in a different direction from the previous 4 years President Trump named Linda McMahon as the new Secretary of Education.
“We need a strong leader at the department who will get our education system back on track, and Ms. McMahon is the right person for the job,” said Sen. Bill Cassidy, a Republican from Louisiana who chairs the committee. “Ms. McMahon demonstrated a strong vision for the Department of Education. She committed to empowering parents and returning powers to states and local communities, which, by the way, are best equipped to address students’ needs.” United States Senator (R) Bill Cassidy, LA Chairman Committee on Health, Education, Labor 02/20/2025

What’s going on in 2025 in Maryland on Education?
Maryland decided several years ago to take its State education system in a new direction. from that came the Kirwan BluePrint, this one size fits all plan for all of Maryland’s counties and Baltimore City’s schools. This mega plan for education has come with mega bucks to pay for it.
Kirwan BluePrint Bankrupting Maryland:
Then Maryland Governor Larry Hogan vetoed kirwan in 2021, but the Democrat majority Legislature overrode his veto. Kirwan the cost of Kirwan is in the Billions of dollars, the criticism back in 2021 it was too expensive and it would lead to major tax increases to pay for it in the future. Here we are in the 2025 Maryland Legislative Session with the State facing a $3 Billion dollar budget deficit, and Governor Moore’s budget is proposing close to a $Billion dollars of Tax and Fee increases. With the BluePrint being a large driver of the State’s deficit.
Governor Moore has proposed some “spending adjustments” to the BluePrint however those proposals are being largely criticized by the States Largest Teachers Union and the Governor’s Democrat allies.
Condoms for Kiddies:
In the 2025 Legislative Session, The Maryland House of Delegates passed HB 0380, a bill that will now allow condoms and other birth control contraceptives from being sold in public school vending machines.
Delegate Kathy Szeliga, a Republican representing District 7A in Baltimore County, said lawmakers have “lost their minds,” and warned parents to “wake up.”
“MD lawmakers have officially lost their minds. Condom vending machines in SCHOOLS—from preschools to high schools? Yes, you read that right,” Szeliga said after the bill’s passage in the House. “Thanks to HB 380, the “Condoms for Kiddies” bill, your child’s school could soon be a one-stop shop for birth control. What’s next, hormone therapy at recess? This is what happens when the people in charge put ideology over common sense.”
This is why Marylanders need to fight for a parental rights bill in the public school system.
Gender Identity Mandate in Maryland:
& on top of that this session in the house HB 161, a bill that is requiring students to learn gender identity, sexual orientation, also not allowing parents to allow their kids to “opt out” if they don’t agree with this curriculum.
“Hey everyone, have you heard about the controversial HB161 that’s currently making its way through the Maryland General Assembly? This bill would remove parents’ right to opt their children out of gender identity and sexual orientation curriculum. As a parent myself, I am outraged by this piece of legislation and believe that parents should have the final say in what their children are exposed to in school.
Yesterday, I gave a fiery opposing speech against this bill, and I urge all of you who are watching to take action. Our friend in the
Maryland Freedom Caucus has set up a page to send a letter of opposition to key Annapolis Democrats, urging them to support parental rights and vote against HB161. Please sign it. Let’s stand up for our children and ensure that parents have the final decision on the curriculum their child learns.” Maryland State Delegate Matt Morgan Facebook Post 02/15/25
Another terrible piece of legislation passed in Annapolis on education, another example why there should be parental rights in Maryland’s public schools.

How to support the Bills for Parental Rights in Annapolis:
MD 2025 SB 948 / HB 1385 Children -Parental Rights – Educational Rights
Requiring each county board of education, in consultation with certain individuals, to develop and implement a certain policy to promote parental involvement in students’ education; and establishing a complaint and appeals process for violations of a certain policy.
Maryland does not have established Parental Rights. Other States do like Virginia and Florida. In Addition in 2023 the US House of Representatives passed a parental rights bill.
Schools need to teach Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, real History, Physical Education, and offer Vocational Technical classes. The rest is up to parents or on the street.
Md is comprised and under luciferian influences.
State education is in need of a massive audit
Enema of viable taxpayers and tax revolt to follow.
Can’t fix strip in this state.
