Gov. Moore’s recent State of the State address painted a rosy picture of Maryland’s future, but as your state senator, I need to be straight with you about where we really stand.
Maryland currently ranks 43rd in economic outlook and faces a staggering $3 billion deficit that could balloon to $7 billion by 2030. This crisis wasn’t created by Gov. Hogan or the Trump administration — it’s the predictable result of expensive, unfunded policies and overregulation pushed through by the Democratic supermajority in Annapolis.
The most glaring omission from the governor’s hourlong speech? The crushing cost of living hitting Eastern Shore families right now, especially those sky-high utility bills. His solution is to raise taxes on businesses and high earners, but we all know those costs always find their way down to workers, consumers, and our local businesses.
Spend Moore was trying to blow vanilla-flavored smoke up everyone’s @$$!
Intelligent and informed voters saw it for what it was – while the leeches that voted for him only did so to continue getting free stuff!
Where’s Cornbread?
Worthless POS doesn’t give a fat rat’s ass about the Eastern Shore. Remember then Gov. Schaeffer called the Eastern Shore “The shit house side of Maryland”. Gov. Tax Moore feels the same way.
Let’s break away from Maryland, and form the 51st State
so whats your plan mr mautz? what are the supposed republicans doing to make sure that qualified candidates are identified and vetted to run against those who push these policies? All I see and hear is more of the same!
where are the leaders at? crying and whining and making speeches is not going to change anything!
