As we watch the Left in the Senate slow-walk Kash Patel’s nomination for FBI director, it becomes abundantly clear – this FBI is still made in the likeness of James Comey and Christopher Wray. President Trump’s election didn’t change that fact.
Over the last several days, reports of FBI leaks related to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids have stirred significant concern. ICE thought it could call on the FBI to help rid the streets of dangerous illegal immigrants – perhaps not. The initial leak allegedly involved sensitive information about planned raids targeting the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua in Aurora, Colorado. As a result, the leak raised serious questions about the continued presence of Deep State actors planted in the FBI.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi didn’t hold back when she told Fox News that those leaking intel about upcoming ICE raids would be prosecuted:
“[P]eople don’t understand that [it] jeopardizes the lives of our great men and women in law enforcement. And if you leaked it, we will find out who you are, and we will come after you. And it’s not going to stop our mission. It’s not going to stop the president’s mission to make America safe again. We were very clear with the lawsuit that we filed in Chicago that if you don’t follow the law, you will be prosecuted by the Department of Justice.”
Bondi’s comments came on the heels of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem accusing the FBI of tipping off ICE deportation raids. “The FBI is so corrupt,” Noem wrote on X. “We will work with any and every agency to stop leaks and prosecute these crooked Deep State agents to the fullest extent of the law.”
