Will Maryland County BOEs Follow Federal Law?

President Donald J. Trump just signed a slew of executive orders that impacts every school system in Maryland. What we are about to explain applies to all counties across the state. We decided to use Worcester County to serve as an example of what we are about to reveal. Not only do they tout being the best performing school district in the state, they have also implemented several liberal policies and practices that defy common sense. Like most counties across Maryland, they have fostered a school climate centered on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) that has created a hostile school environment of racial stereotyping, preference, and inequity behind the scenes of what they would otherwise portray.

In the video below, Todd Ferrante, President of the Worcester County BOE explains why males who identify as females can use a restroom based on their gender identity:

BOE Meeting November 19, 2024

That’s right, you heard it. Ferrante stated that federal law TRUMPS state and local law, and that the Board is following the Biden Administration’s executive orders. Farrante also stated, “Although that law could change….” Well, it did.

Will Ferrante hold true to his statement?

Since Farrante claims that the Board follows federal executive orders, let’s take a look at each executive order and what the Worcester County BOE needs to change to be in compliance with the executive orders brought forth under the Trump Administration.

  1. Boards will continue to do as they are told by the Democrat Governor. Republican Councils and Boards don’t have the b###s to do anything about it. Look at just what happened in Wicomico County. Democrat NAACP told the Council and Board to jump and all they did was just say how much do you want?
