A Viewer Writes: EASTERN SHORE UNDERCOVER EDITORIAL ON PEACE ORDER CASE INVOLVING COUNCIL MEMBER SHANE BAKER

Wicomico County, MD – On Friday, I attended a Wicomico County District Court hearing concerning a peace order petition against Wicomico County Council Member Shane Baker. Initially, a District Court Commissioner and a District Court Judge issued the immediate peace order to the two individuals involved as the petitioners.
This particular case was presided over by Judge Neil Axel, a visiting judge who was brought in to hear this matter. Judge Axel determined that the petitioners failed to meet the burden of proof required to issue a temporary peace order, leading to the denial of the request.
My role in the hearing was that of a witness for the petitioner; however, I encountered an unexpected question from Mr. Baker’s attorney, Andrew MacDonald of MacDonald Law Office, LLC.
Instead of asking about the specifics of the case or the individuals involved, Mr. MacDonald’s asked just one question…… that question focused once again on my support for and contributions to Wicomico County Executive Julie Giordano’s campaign.
Interestingly, this morning, I received a copy of a local news blog that discussed the court case but devoted 95% of the article to me, Earl Campbell.
These instances, while somewhat amusing, highlight two things:
1. There is an unusual fascination with me and my political support for local leaders.
2. There is a notable amount of jealousy towards what I have built with Eastern Shore Undercover from individuals who seem irrelevant with their small blogs.
Nevertheless, I will continue to support candidates who work tirelessly for our community, such as Wicomico County Executive Julie Giordano, and I will strive to expose corruption and poor leadership in those who do not.
Onward, my friends, and remember to always seek the truth amidst the noise.
It’s very bizarre Mr Campbell reported on the Case, and also testified in the case, yet he had nothing credible to add to the case, he pushed for a Guilty narrative with his 2 previous articles of Mr. Baker, before all the  evidence came in for this case, makes you question his validity as former police officer, and currently as “objective journalist”
This Statement is mostly about himself and barley mentions that Mr Baker was found not guilty.
Also very disturbing to see Wicomico County Executive Julie Giordano liking this Statement, clearly not showing respect for the “Rule of Law” this case was adjudicated in a court of law and the charges against Mr. Baker was dismissed by the judge…  Is the County Executive defending people who may have purjured themselves in a Court of Law?….
Also seeing Sean McHugh an Ocean City Police officer liking this post, and Pittsville Town Commissioner.
In addition Heather Langford a Wicomico County Employee head engineer liking this post…

  1. McHugh and “his police chief Harris” are total fans of Julie the “holster sniffer”. Amazing how Mchugh is allowing 3 to 4 people on a daily basis to sit on there cans for hours at the taxpayers woe but steadily increasing the burden of his piss poor management of the town onto town taxpayers constantly increasing every fee they have. Funny when Mchugh, a few months ago attended a county council meeting and spoke at the podium and had no idea what he was talking and was corrected by the longest serving member. And this a$$clown has intentions on running for district 5 council seat ? Not a chance the way I see it. Just pack up and go back to Baltimore Sean and maybe you can get on Wes Moores team and get him out of a 3 billion dollar short fall before you break the taxpayers of the town your destroying!

  2. Did Sean Mchugh approve for Bob Harris to go to and testify against Shane Baker on the town of Pittsvilles dime? Also Mchugh slandered Shane even before the peace order went to court. Him and Bob Harris need to resign from there positions. I sure hope taxpayers know just how common these 2 individuals are.

  3. Known Shane Baker since he was a little boy and nothing but good. Raised by top shelf parents who raised a good man. So glad he cleared his name but folks here on the Eastside knew it was a Camp Gio witch hunt to destroy someone who makes his decisions based on facts not fabrication.
