Polar vortex headed for US will bring ‘exceptionally cold’ temps in the new year: ‘Weather models are screaming’

January is shaping up to be the coldest in a decade as the polar vortex dips south across the eastern half of the United States — shocking a nation that has enjoyed an unusually balmy end of the year.

“It’s going to get cold, and then very cold,” a Fox Weather meteorologist told The Post Monday.

“Based on the latest long-range data, this January has the potential to be the coldest since 2014,” they added.

In seven to 14 days, a blast of arctic air will wash over the eastern half of the United States, forecasters say.

  1. OH NO!!!!! It’s Wintertime and it’s COLD!!!!!! What will we do??????? Quick, I have to go to Costco and by 10 gallons of milk and 25 packages of toilet paper!!!!!!!! Call out the National Guard!!!!! The world is ending!!!!!! AgggghhhhHHHhggggg!!!!!!

  2. What ???? No eggs or bread ?
Is the milk for your coffee alone ? ( 10 gallons of milk. You must drink a lot of coffee…. LOL )
I cant say much. I just got 5 boxes of coffee pods. ( 60 cups of coffee ) ( Don’t judge me, it’s cheaper than buying 6 cups of coffee at star bucks ) Do you know why the coffee chain was named ” Starbucks ? Because it cost you many ” bucks ” to buy a cup of coffee.
Who’s up for tail gating in either Food lion’s or Acme’s parking lots and watch the panic buying ?
