Worcester To Rent Public Landing Boat Slips

SNOW HILL – County officials approved plans to rent out boat slips at Public Landing.

On Tuesday, the Worcester County Commissioners voted 6-0 to move forward with renting out 30 slips at Public Landing. The proposal was recommended by Tom Perlozzo, the county’s director of recreation, parks, tourism and economic development.

“It would be in our opinion very popular,” Perlozzo said.

Perlozzo told the commissioners as improvements had been made at Public Landing, there had been numerous requests to rent the 30 slips. Those who have expressed interest have been added to a list in the order calls were received.

  1. You better hire a summer attendant then. The other rental places do. And that is a helluva way to go to get to your boat. It’s shallow as hell out there. Not sure that is a prime spot for $800.

  2. Oh? A stinking 30 boat slips!?!?!?!? I doubt that’s enough for just the Biden family in DE much less the Hogan family. When you reach a LIMIT of ONLY 30, that is nepotism defined.

OBVIOUSLY this is NOT something this County’s taxpayer base benefits from. Why are the TAXPAYERS asked to finance such a limited ELITE perk?

Please publish the names of those qualifying for this perk.

  3. Should have a lottery to determine who gets to rent a slip since
There was no notice to the public about getting your name on a list
Looks like the Good Ol Boys are in charge of this
