Tautog have moved into the Ocean City Inlet and the surrounding jetties, bulkheads, and piers. Flounder are moving out through the inlet headed for offshore wintering grounds.
Smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and northern pike are active as waters cool.
White perch can now be found in the deeper waters at the mouths of the region’s tidal rivers and eventually they will find their way out into the Bay, always looking for slightly warmer water down deep.
Blue catfish are moving to the upper sections of the tidal rivers and can be found along channel edges and nearby channel shelves. As the month of November progresses, this is one of the best times to target blue catfish.
