A Viewer Writes: Wicomico County Executive Julie Giordano’ Campaign Fined $2000 Dollars for Campaigning With Illegal Signs on Election Day

Wicomico County Executive Julie Giordano was fined $2000 dollars by the Maryland Board of Elections on 11/05/24 for campaigning with illegal signs that did not have a proper authority line, some of them had no authority line at all.

She was previously fined by the Maryland State Board of Elections $250 dollars on 10/29/24 for Campaigning with these illegal signs during early voting. Several of the signs that had an improper authority line even had Governor Moore on these signs. The Anti Question A group was victorious but they definitely knowingly campaigned with hundreds of illegal signs that did not have a proper authority line, some had no authority line on them at all. Even after being fined, they still put the signs back out for election day.

  1. Perfectly acceptable to break the law as a means to achieving a goal or desired outcome. Especially when you know nothing’s going to happen. Rock on Julie.
