Post64 Supports Hurricane Helene Storm Victims

Attention: American Legion Southeastern Shore District 2 will be collecting disaster relief items at Post 64. Please bring something. The list is below.

Drop off location is at Wicomico Post 64 American Legion at 1109 American Legion Road, Salisbury MD 21801. Drop off hours Monday-Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm, Saturday-Sunday 1:00pm – 8:00pm.

These supplies will be picked up mid-week next week so please donate as soon as possible. Thank you!

Accepted Items:

Sports drinks (powdered packets)

Hydration packs (powder form)

Baby wipes

Diapers (children & adults)

Baby formula

Bug spray

Sunscreen

Plastic utensils

Manual can openers

Trash bags (13-gallon or contractor bags)

Non-perishable foods

Cleaning supplies

Plastic sheeting/tarps

Toothbrushes & toothpaste

Toiletries & sanitation items

Pet food (dog & cat)

Hand sanitizer & wipes

Feminine hygiene products

Heavy-duty work gloves

Socks (all sizes, unopened)

Please note: Items they cannot accept the following items:

Used clothes

Water (due to weight)

HAZMAT or most chemicals (including bleach)

Fuel or flammable items
