Downtown hotels and motels full .. never a guarantee….but the projection is always high
20% drops in hopsitality revenue May June and close for July… cant vet that back by raising prices higher either!!
Windmills still a.bad idea with little ROI for a lot of expense
Where are all the peeps this year? North OC! Vrbo, Airbnb and huge fams renting and eating in. Why? TOO EXPENSIVE.
Lots.of day trippers (who are hated since they don’t spend or pay parking downtown (they go north).
Empty motel and hotel room bring in $0, whereas homes, townhomes, condos are already taxed….so that’s banked monies
How bout those very expensive town homes built on the north end bayside on the 140th streets? 650k and higher….right on coastal highway…smashed together? Who was the genius that approved that safety nightmare?

Grade schoolers and college kids leaving in 2 weeks.
