Mr. Brian Shane, (formerly an investigative reporter with the Daily Times) is doing a very informative piece today at noon on 90.7. I encourage everyone on the Eastern Shore to listen in and learn something your local media has only failed to report because they weren’t aware of it until this Federal Lawsuit came about. Let’s see what they do about it after Brian exposes it.
The excuse from law enforcement heads that encrypted radios keep the bad guys from knowing when LEOs are closing in is fooling the public. Bad guys always know and end up getting the latest greatest technology.
Many Leos I’ve talked too embraced public help in certain situations. Now that doesn’t exist and I’m sure Leos jobs have become harder.
Eventually encrypted tech will become available and all that money to upgrade….went for not.
