The cool water from the Conowingo Dam is attractive to many kinds of fish, including resident walleye, smallmouth bass, flathead catfish, blue catfish, and the striped bass that move in and out of the lower Susquehanna River.

Fishing for white perch has been good in the tidal rivers and creeks of the middle Bay this week. The mornings and evenings when a strong tide is running tend to offer the best fishing.
