Wicomico Finance Office Closed for Tax Sale

On June 12, 2024 the Finance Office in the Government Office Building will be closed, due to the tax sale. The tax sale will be held at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center at 10:00 AM. Same day registration for the sale will be between 8:30-9:30 AM at the Civic Center.

Finance will continue to take calls at 410-548-4840.

  1. Is this a sale of property’s of unpaid taxes? If so, this is not good. When my property taxes become so expensive I can’t afford to pay, people in high positions in the county will be getting a visit. I have been taking notes for a few years.

      1. Threatening what 6:37? The poster may want to explain the situation to policy makers. How does that sound threatening? To avoid that conversation, maybe lawmakers will represent the people who voted them in, instead of representing businesses and self-interest groups. What kind of charges do you have in mind for that poster 6:37? Here’s a hint, check with some of Trump’s criminal prosecutors. I’m sure they can fabricate some fake and bogus charges. Everything is good till it effects you, right. Well give it time and it will, you’re just to naive to see it.

      2. Hey 6:37, You better read the article about obiden threatening to “take out reporters too”. Now that is a threat that needs monitoring. The article was posted two stories before this one if you need your memory refreshed.
